In Flashpoint, Shani's "Waking the Grid" stands out because it doesn't ask you to farm kills or pray for lucky drops. It's a route job, plain and simple, and that's why it works. If you've been stacking up ARC Raiders Coins for gear prep, this mission feels like a nice break from the usual pressure. You're sent into Spaceport to bring an old security system back online by hand, and the whole thing leans more on movement, positioning, and knowing where to go than raw firepower. That makes it surprisingly satisfying. You're not there to start a war. You're there to get in, hit three points, and keep the run clean.
The smoothest way to do it is to begin on the west side of Spaceport, close to the Fuel Lines. Your first objective is the Guard Tower, and getting to the console is the only part that can slow people down if they haven't been there before. Most players will spot a zipline and take the easy route. If that's not open, the damaged interior paths still work, though you'll need to watch your footing. Once you reach the upper platform, interact with the security console and let the reboot finish. That first activation wakes up the outer sensors and sets the rest of the mission in motion. No tricks, no hidden mechanic, just make sure you don't get caught lingering up there too long.
After that, head east toward the Departure Building. This section is pretty direct, which helps a lot if the raid is getting noisy. Go through the main lobby and work your way into the back area until you find the marked terminal tied to central security control. Hit it, wait for the interaction, and the grid comes online in stages. It sounds easy, and it is, but this is usually where people get careless. ARC patrols can drift through, and other raiders know these interior spaces are worth checking. Don't sprint every corridor like nothing's there. Slow down at corners, listen for movement, and only take fights you have to. The mission is fast when you stay disciplined.
The third and last step is in the Arrival Building Data Office, just northwest of Departure. It's close enough that you can chain the route without wasting time, but getting inside isn't always obvious on your first run. Look for a breached wall or a half-open entry point rather than the cleaner front access. Inside the office, find the wire interface and interact with it. Your character handles the final fix, and the quest completes right there. That's the beauty of this one. You don't need to extract for credit, so the stress drops immediately. For a lot of players, that alone makes it worth doing, especially if they'd rather buy ARC Raiders Coins for progression support than waste extra raids repeating simple objectives. It's a smart little mission, and it quietly teaches you Spaceport's layout while you're finishing it.
